Northwest Center and your unsold stuff

West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day recommends Northwest Center as the place to donate anything you have left over after your sale.

Northwest Center will be offering scheduling of your donation pickups online. This will enable you to give them all the necessary information to arrange for the pickup. Pickups will then be scheduled and an e-mail confirmation sent to you. Pickups will not be made on Saturday. Visit their new website at bigbluetruck.org for a listing of acceptable donations and to set up a pickup. (Click on “schedule a donation pickup.”)

If you would like to donate the same day as the West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day, Northwest Center’s West Seattle Donation Drop-Off site in The Junction is open till 5 pm on Saturdays. The truck is located at the corner of 44th Ave SW & SW Edmunds St (map), just south of the WaMu drive-through. (The station is regularly open 9 am-5 pm EVERY DAY OF RHE WEEK as of May 2012!)
