We’ve already mentioned that more than half a dozen sales promise lemonade. Here’s one more option, a Gatewood fundraiser for the earthquake-devastated people of Nepal:

Tagging onto WS Community Garage Sale Day tomorrow, kids from 5+ families in our neighborhood will be holding a bake sale / lemonade stand Saturday morning 9 am-noon to benefit Nepal SEEDS, a nonprofit organization working in villages in Nepal. Our friend and West Seattleite Cris Miller has been working with Nepal SEEDS for years and is on their board. They are in major fundraising mode to assist in earthquake relief and re-building in the villages they work in. Stop by for a treat and support a very worthy cause! The kids will be waving you down in the 7800 block of California Ave. SW, between Portland and Kenyon.
