Just three weeks now until West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day 2016 on May 14th, and almost 200 sales are signed up! We’ve set the registration deadline for this Wednesday night, April 27th, 11:59 pm – by then, signups will have been open for more than three weeks, ample time for the word to get around. Then, we start working on the map, which as always will be available in clickable online and printable/downloadable PDF versions, one week BEFORE sale day. Having a sale? Not signed up yet? you know what would make This Community Yard Sale An Even Bigger Event…? … seriously.. Ready… ??.. On one or two blocks..rent a table a spot a curb in front of somebody.. . Then , … Id feel better about Selling..since i dont have a whole yard full. , And … west seattle doesnt have all these people going from here to there . bla bla bla . so what if its posted in paper.. Most .yardsalers Truly get their lead from The posters on the telepole. . the arrows to where it is.. but Whatever You Can Get from the signeruppers.. 12.00 posted ad hoorah hoorah.. . ..umm. So.. swat meet block Party thing. Waaaay better i think. maybe next year. And Nother thing.. Say.. Options.. every spot gets you a Picnic blanketed patch of grass near curb.. But if you wabt a table . ..Your selling spot double in space Blanket Plus Table.. use them together or use them next to each other . .. then there are the driveway rentals.. .. pretty much People could team up and rent it together .. shared space 3 families, split the rent fee …brinfg your own table. or rent one of yours.. See…? abd the curbs , the rented Driveways..the community Gettogether.. … the homeowners get some chunk change for sharing their space ..and thats how youll find the West Seattle Area… The block that has the most agreeable, acceptable, sharing, happy ,go luckys in one spot..the Very most..wwll, thara the xhosen spot. well, . . . If you like my idea .you vetter get to knockin on doors. seeing whos in it to win it..
