ONE DAY TO GO! West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day 2016 is tomorrow

Happy Friday – we are now one day away from West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day 2016, 9 am-3 pm Saturday, May 14th.
Tomorrow might not be the bright sunny WSCGSD we have been used to in recent years – though today we’re looking at another record high temperature – but currently, it looks like the showers will hold off until later in the day. (We’re hoping for post-4 pm.)
If there are any last-minute cancellations/changes, we’ll have them atop this site as well as the map page on WSB, so check there first thing in the morning. That’s also where we’re linking our ongoing previews, and planning on a few more before the day is out.

Thanks for the reminder of potentially canceled sales! A day or two ago I wrote down on a sticky note 8 sales that seemed doable to visit on foot in my neighborhood.
This morning, in writing the addresses down on a larger piece of paper, and planning my walking route, I revisited the map to look them up once again, actually to review the offerings at each, so I could make a notation on any that might be offering something I’m particularly looking for,
In doing so, found out it looks like the first one I was going to hit has been cancelled, significantly shortening my large loop, to where I won’t need to swing down from home at 16th & Barton to 14th and nearly Roxbury, then back to 15th and Henderson/Trenton.
I’ll just have to remember to double check again in the morning! 🙂

I may be going out on a limb here – but I’m currently collecting textiles to recycle. Our recycling event is to raise funds for 2 mission trips this fall to Thailand & Uganda, Africa. If anyone would like for me to grab any textiles in any condition I would love to grab them! Textiles, shoes, bedding & more we can recycle. Please feel free to email me if you’d like us to take items vs you dropping at the Goodwill. (Assuming you all don’t have something pre-arranged!!)

How do I cancel? I’m number 92. I didn’t pay the fee so I didn’t think that it would be confirmed but somehow I ended up on the map. Please advise

We sent multiple notes to the few people who registered but didn’t make it through PayPal, asking them to please let us know if they had changed their mind. Most simply had had trouble with PP. We’ll take you off the online map.
