310+ sales are signed up for West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day 2017 – and registration is closed, as of 9 pm Thursday! We are now checking the listings so that if we have a question for you before we start work on the maps and listings, we can get it answered – watch your e-mail box! And if YOU have a question, garagesale@westseattleblog.com. Meantime, on to sale day – Saturday, May 13, 2017, 9 am-3 pm, can’t wait!

We recently moved to the Seattle area and just heard this afternoon that there is a neighborhood garage sale and a website for local news. We would love to participate in the sale but the deadline was yesterday. Any suggestions on how we might be able to sign up/join in on Garage Sale Day? Thank you!

Hi, MaryLou! Welcome to West Seattle! I am so sorry that the timing was bad. We can’t register anyone else – we had to lock down the list right after registration ended last night (it had been open for 3+ weeks), so we can get it all ready to go public a week before sale day. My apologies! If you decide to participate next year, look for registration to open in early April … sale day is always the second Saturday in May.
